We are pleased to welcome our new golf professional Ross Crowe who commences at the club on 1st September. As indicated in previous communications Ross will be working across our club and his current club Blyth. He will work closely with Archie Wilson to oversee the running of the shop and all activities linked to this including our junior coaching programme and our women in golf initiatives. It is expected that the swing studio will be up and running again in the near future once new equipment is sourced meaning that a full range of coaching should be on offer. Winter hours will be published in October with Summer shop hours running until 31st October, these are as follows:
Monday 8.30-3pm
Tuesday 8.30-1pm
Wednesday 9-6pm
Thursday 8.30-1pm
Friday 8.30-1pm
Saturday 7-4pm
Sunday 8-3pm
In terms of competitions the Wednesday sweep will revert to being a pro’s sweep and two's from club competitions will revert to being paid as shop credit, Seniors two's will remain as purse payments. These changes will be put in place once our IG system can be adjusted. We hope you will join us in welcoming Ross to the club and support him by using his shop and services.
